SeeYou is a flight simulation program, with the help of which you can plan tasks and manage waypoint lists. All this can be uploaded to your Pocket PC. You can download your flights from GPS devices, see the flight on the maps, explore statistics and relive it in a 3D view.
You can use high-resolution vector maps to view the terrain in 3D. NASA provides these maps. You can combine these maps with raster maps, which lets your view vegetation, mountaintops and other details.
What I liked most about this program was the statistics panel, which gives you such information about your flight as thermals, ground speeds and glides. You can also watch your flight in a 3D view. I found this application very similar to many games of the kind, for example, Comanche 4 or Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X.
The flight optimization feature helps in recording flight statistics and submitting them to online contests. You can play multiple flights together using the animation feature. You can synchronize them to see a comparative analysis. I found the planning task very interesting, as you can plan your speed and meet your waypoint targets by assigning tasks to flights.
